A Chance Encounter

Yesterday during a break in the part of our program with interfaith chaplains, I met a Black Protestant military chaplain of who told me I was the first African American dude studying for the Catholic priesthood he’s ever met!

Glad God arranged things to let this encounter happen.I don’t mind being a unicorn for the cause, but let there be more of us to let the presence of the Incarnated Christ the Priest be felt even more universally, especially showing how He has Incarnated Himself within the Black community.

Let young Black men know they, too, are called by God to serve Him as priests.
