All Saints of Every Race and Tongue

All Saints of Every Race and Tongue

Today the Church celebrates all Saints known and unknown who fought the well fought fight and entered into heavenly glory. Now they intercede for us before Christ so that we can join them in the same glory they all share together.

My apostolate especially celebrates all the Black Catholic saints in heaven both known and unknown who have gone before us.

Here are two Black Catholic saints above me in the chapel at my seminary:

St. Josephine Bakhita, patron saint of human trafficking survivors, whose feast day is Feb. 8. Check out her story on my site and ask for her intercession.

And

St. Martin de Porres, patron saint of black and mixed-raced people, whose feast day is in just a few days, Nov. 3. Check his story out also on my site along with other Black Catholic saints and holy ones!

May all the Saints of “every race and tongue” pray for us to the God who came as a Jewish man to save and redeem every people and nation. Only Jesus can gather us all into one Holy People into His one Church!
