Almost A Priest: Countdown till Ordination [T-Minus 56 days]: Attending Classmates Priestly Ordination and Getting Their First Blessing

Part of the final leg of the journey to the priesthood for any guy includes this absolute must, if he can make it. This is showing up to support some of the guys you made it through and out of seminary with in order to see them become priests.

Today, I sat and celebrated vested as deacon for the ordination of four of my classmates from Saint Meinrad as priests of Jesus Christ forever for the Diocese of Evansville.

And also part is getting a first priestly blessing from one of them, no doubt!
