This Upcoming Week and Month – BLACKCATHOLIC and Ven. Tolton

During upcoming week Wednesday, April 1 will come upon us and this date is important for this apostolate for two reasons.

1. It will be the 2nd year anniversary since I first launched BLACKCATHOLIC on Easter Day 2018.

2. 166th anniversary of Venerable Fr. Tolton’s birth, who is one of the patrons of my apostolate. Plus, during this month April 24 will mark the 134th anniversary of Ven. Tolton’s ordination to the priesthood of Jesus Christ. He was ordained on the Vigil of Easter.

So since this month is significant to Tolton in a special way I invite you all to take time this week, especially on the above days, to learn more about the nation’s first recognized Black Catholic priest!
